Established in 2000, Green Eyes started as an informal group of students but developed into a professional NGO with full-time staff and hundreds of members and volunteers. In addition to running an animal rehabilitation clinic and providing training to local-law enforcement on illegally traded endangered species, Green Eyes also conducts environmental outreach and education programs targeted to local middle and high-school students.
