道和环境与发展研究所

1994年，道和环境与发展研究所（IED，前身环境与发展研究所/LEAD中国）在北京成立，是中国最早成立的民间环境NGO之一，创始人李来来。


在机构创始之初，面对国内相对不成熟的可持续发展环境，道和环境与发展研究所立足于可持续发展领域研究、公众教育和环境信息的开发与服务，推动了可持续发展理念在中国的普及，尤其是培养了一批目前走在中国可持续发展前沿的领袖人才，促进了中国公民社会的发展。


在机构发展过程中，随着国内环境课题的变化，道和环境与发展研究所在推广可持续发展理念的同时，更注重寻求解决环境与发展问题的可行方案，坚持立足现实问题，以脚踏实地的工作方式、科学的态度和勇于创新的精神，不断为政府、企业及社会公众提供环境领域前沿的数据、信息和分析。


十多年来，道和环境与发展研究所先后开展了LEAD中国、新经济中国（NVC），青少年能源可持续发展教育（YSEE）等重点项目，推出了一系列在环境领域有影响的出版物和报告，今后，将重点关注生态社区与教育、可持续发展经济和气候政策领域，不断为中国可持续发展事业做出贡献。

Established in 1994 as a domestic NGO, the Institute for Environment and Development (IED) is an independent research institute in the fields of eco-environmental protection and social development.


For over ten years, with the mission of exploring the solution to environmental and development issues and promoting the sustainable development of Chinese society, IED adopted a down-to-earth attitude and innovative thinking and has relentlessly provided the cutting-edge information, analysis and constructive solutions to the government, the public and the business society. IED implemented LEAD China, New Ventures China (NVC), and Youth Sustainable Environment Education (YSEE), etc. programs, and published dozens of influence reports and publications.

IED focuses its effort on Sustainable Economy Development, Eco-Society & Education and Climate Policy Research to make its own contribution on China’s sustainable development.
